Sorry to be late in getting back to you about honey. The content and color of the honey is directly affected by which plants bees visit in order to gather nectar and pollen. One year my bees went to the forest because it was too dry in the garden and the honey looked like molasses. When they gather from lavender, the honey is also a darker color. Then there is the rapeseed honey gathered from nearby crops which is like white caramel.
